The Standard, Maldives is a chic, contemporary resort located on Huruvalhi Island in the Raa Atoll, approximately 147 kilometers northwest of Male. This tropical retreat offers 115 stylish villas—either overwater or beachfront—each featuring a private plunge pool and sun deck. The resort is designed for couples, families, and groups seeking a blend of relaxation and adventure. Guests can enjoy snorkeling in the vibrant house reef, indulge in spa treatments at The Standard Spa, or participate in daily yoga sessions. The island intimate size allows for leisurely walks around its perimeter, offering stunning views and a serene atmosphere. Getting There from Velana International Airport (MLE): The most efficient and scenic way to reach The Standard, Maldives is via a 40-minute seaplane flight from Velana International Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, a resort representative will greet you and assist with the transfer arrangements. Alternatively, guests can opt for a 30-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Airport, followed by a 25-minute speedboat ride to the resort. Its important to note that boat-only transfers are not available due to the distance and for safety reasons.
